The summer months are traditionally a period of rest and training for table tennis players.\u00a0 But for some, the competition continues with the Summer league.<\/p>\n

For 2023, Generation 2 entered teams into each of the three divisions of the South East Hampshire summer league.\u00a0 All teams performed well, with Generation Gamma taking 3rd place in Division 3, behind joint winners Phoenix Pluto and Soberton & Newtown C, and Generation Beta taking joint 2nd place in Division 2 – tying with Knowle Victory behind winners Phoenix Saturn.<\/p>\n

In Division 1, Generation Alpha took joint 1st place alongside Soberton & Newtown A.\u00a0 The two winning teams achieved near 100% performances against all the other teams, and when facing off with each other managed one victory each for the tied first place.<\/p>\n

There were strong individual performances from the players, with Ian Brown winning 100% of his matches in Alpha, and all other Alpha players managing at least 80% win rates.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
